Founded in 2003 by Barry Clark, a retired Police Superintendent, the business now employs several retired Police Officers, financial managers and sales directors. We are a family firm who pride ourselves on helping the local community, delivering a first-class service and ensuring best practice is upheld.

Cataphract has been processing DBS checks since 2003 for NHS practices, local sports associations, schools, care homes, community projects and tutor schemes and missionary schools. We truly believe that the have developed our system to make it as user friendly and simple for the client as possible. Our flexible approach means that the customer can have as much or as little involvement in the management of the process as they wish, from none to full.
