Pre-employment screening is the entry level of security clearances and contains the governments recommended checks to be completed to ensure you are employing the right people.
Employers have a duty to prevent illegal working in the UK by carrying out prescribed document checks on people before employing them to ensure they are lawfully allowed to work. We take the responsibility of verifying their right to work and the ownership on behalf of HR divisions.

Most National Security Vetting checks at CTC and SC take 3 months to complete
Applications go through smoothly when all the data provided is correct and all relevant information is disclosed. Even if you are embarrassed by something or someone in your past – disclose it. Hide it and it will be found.
Proof of identity, Nationality and right to work.
Proof of address and work history.
Criminal convictions.
Later in the process the details of your partner and parents are required.
For National Security you need to have a Sponsor who will be:
The Ministry of Defence;
Other Government Organisation; or
List X Company
You cannot apply for National Vetting without first being sponsored by these organisations.
